Siberia is burning

Recently, forest fires in the Siberian Federal District have become more frequent. This year,
the fires have reached catastrophic proportions. Hundreds of thousands of hectares of forests
and fields burned down. The fire also affected the settlements of people who were left without housing and agriculture.

A large number of animals live in the forests of Siberia, including those under the threat of extinction. This year, the forest fires have come during the breeding season for many animals. And it's
no secret that an animal with offspring will not be able to run fast and it has practically no chance
of escaping from a fire.

Not enough funds and attention are allocated to extinguish fires. The scale of the disaster
is enormous and it becomes economically unprofitable to put out fires.
Our team of illustrators gathered to help convey to people our pain and anxiety for the future
of Siberian forests.

For now, the disaster has stopped. But this does not mean that there will be no more large-scale fires. Due to uncontrolled logging, abandoned agricultural fields and human activity, fires will continue every year. This issue requires increased public attention
to eliminate the consequences of fires and prevent them in the future.
Let's do our best together.

Thank you for watching!
